How can I find someone

Okay, so I am new at this, and I was wondering how I go about finding someone that has served or is still serving in the USMC. I am pretty sure that they are active. Is this the place to find him? All information would be helpful. Thanks so much.

me too, i met someone and like an idiot didn't take his name, etc when he offered it. I know he recently finished basic in may 2006 and he is training now at camp lajune. If you find anything out let me know too.
