We've been here for only a short time,
Yet it feels like an eternity.
We didn't think it would be like this,
But with newly opened eyes we now see.

We see this plave as hell on earth,
No GOD in the big, blue sky.
Yet we find the GOD we once knew,
When behind the chapel walls, we cry.

We miss our mothers, we miss our fathers,
We miss our wives and kids.
But when we get home we can all say,
"Look at what your son or father did!"

We only have a short time to go,
With many obstacles in our way.
But when we leave this dreadful place,
Oh what a glorious day!!
