Brothers and Sisters I take great pride in announcing that one of our Recruit Forums pup's has made us extremely proud. Covey_Rider aka LCpl Dominic Stam aka "Word Boy" graduated yesterday as Golf Company Honorman. He was Guide for Platoon 2048. He has the distinction of being our very first Company Honorman and this new Marine has brought honor upon us all. OORAH!!!

Oh yes, I remember him! He has a good mind and a gift for writing. He has now done himself and the Marine Corps proud! It's a pleasure to have met him in the chat room but even more to see how he has accomplished his task in becoming a Marine.

I know Matt would have done better but would have appreciated the hard work this young man did. When it came to the Marines Matt was going to be the leader. As for other things he wasn't quite as competitive and put forth very little effort. Only those things that mattered most got his undivided attention. He did like to razz people though.
