It's hard for me to beleive nobody on this site was a member C co 1/27 First Marine Brigade in 1969! still looking for people who served in this unit from May til June of 1969.
I was station there with that outfit and was later transfered to Marine Barracks Pearl Harbor as a MP I was ether a private or Lance Corporal at the time and later became a corporal at Pearl Harbor Lance Corporal David M. Brake:usmc:

Glad to see someone who has served where I did....My CO at Kaneohe was 1st LT. Thadious Weiner and I also was sent to Marine Barracks Pearl Harbor where my CO was Capt William Harris who later retired as a LT.COL. Both theses officers are dead now. Semper Fi Bro....
