Good Morning Marines,
I sent my son back after a holiday leave on Tuesday....we had thought he wouldn't get leave until God knows when, but he called late last night and said I needed to contact his recruiter and ask him to send papers to a 1st Sgt. of where he is located for MCT Training... and it was quite late I hope I got this part right ..he said "not a SRB Marine" can one of you nice Marines tell me what he means? I have contacted you all before and you have always be very helpful. Thank You

PMM PFC D.B.

SRB stands for Service Record Book. My guess is that he is wanting his recruiter to send the MCT 1stSgt a Recruiters Assitance (RA) request orders form. That way your son could be home but have to work at the local recruiting office during the day and it does not count as leave.

And all these years I thought SRB stood for Selective Reenlistment Bonus!
