Does anyone know the requirements to try out for EOD or what their training is like?

Look here. A basic google search and you will be able to find the answer to most of your questions. About.com has tons of information that you might find useful and will enable you to get an answer to your questions faster.

EOD ? Well.....
They won't touch a land mine.... Ha!:)

sry had to do it.
-Must be E3-E5
-Must be at least 21 years old
-lat move from any MOS
-at least 36 months remaining on active duty
-first class PFT
-pass the bomb suit test
-no allergies to explosives
-letter of recommendation from your MOS career monitor and unit career planner
-interview with a EOD Officer (or 1st/Master Sergeant I do believe)
-letter of reccomendation from the EOD Officer
that isn't an EXACT list of things (I may be wrong on a few), but it's pretty close.
