Facebook is basically another website online to met people. It was at first going to be just for students but it has since then expanded to everyone. I hope that answered your question.

Well I'm sure you're familiar with Myspace and what its like. That's kind of what facebook is like, except facebook is more school-related...and your not as likely to have strangers stalking you because you have to accept every person that even wants to look at your page
