My uncle L/Cpl. Bruce Hayes 3 MARDIV. was killed in Quang Tri in May of 68. I would also like to know if someone out there knew him. Semper FI

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your uncle. I did not know him. I arrived in country first of June of 68. Hopefully someone will respond that had the opportunity to know him. Good Luck.....

My ex-husband was at Quang Tri in Dec. '68 to August '69 with the Navy Seabee's....MCB 128.

Yea the Seabee's were around alot either building something or clearing ground for encampment or runways -

I was there July 16, 1966 to July 30, 1966 during 2 different operations.

India Co. 3/9 June '68-July '69 ( The Flaming I ) Quang Tri and everywhere around. Firebase Kates, Ashau Valley, LZ Stud, Rockpile, been there and am damn proud to have been.
