Twin brothers Nathaniel and Mathew Rogers have done everything together. Now, as members of the Marine Corps, they may be going to war side-by-side with their reserve unit.

The 21-year-old brothers are among the 180 Marine Corps reservists based in Greensboro called to active duty this week for deployment.

They haven't been told where they are going in the area that includes Iraq and Afghanistan, but they were issued desert camouflage clothing.

The twins have done many of the same things, from waiting tables to getting identical tattoos to attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

They even finish each other's sentences, a habit that created some consternation last year with their drill sergeants at basic training.

"We're both lance corporals, but I outrank him by about three seconds," said Nathaniel, the older of the twins from Arcadia. "When we told our family we were being deployed, they didn't believe us for about an hour ..."

" ... until we showed them the orders," Mathew chimed in.
