Lejeune’s Cultural Heritage Day slated for Friday
For the first time in five years, Camp Lejeune, N.C., officials are hosting a Cultural Heritage Day. The event runs most of the day Friday and is open to service members, their families and local civilians.
The day’s events kick off with a motorcycle “diversity ride” around 9 a.m.
Activities scheduled at the base’s Goettege Memorial Field House include arts and crafts displays, music and dramatic performances; they are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
