The POW/MIA Freedom Fighters (http://www.powmiaff.org) will host their
5th annual Internet Blackout Day (http://www.powmiaff.org/blackout.html)
on 1 February 03. Participation for this event comes in 5 different
forms. Individual and groups may blackout single pages, whole domains,
chatrooms and mailing lists. Those who wish to join in but do not have
any of these to blackout may host their own events. In the past, people
have flown the POW/MIA flag and helped promote the event.

The Blackout lasts for 24 hours. Visitors to blackout pages are
directed to the POW/MIA Freedom Fighters website where they will be able
to learn more about our cause.

Businesses with websites are also urged to participate. We realize that
they may not wish to blackout for a complete 24 hours so we offer a 90
second blackout option to them.

Over the last 4 events, over 1300 webpages and 135 domains have joined
to show their unity for the POW/MIA issue. Now, more than ever with
recent developments in the Scott Speicher case, supporters are needed to
show the US Government that we have not forgotten our brothers and
sisters.
