This may be the wrong location for this post but I can't think of a more applicable location.
I'm trying to find some basic information on the history of drill in the marine corps. All I can find is that our drill was based on the Armies "Blue Book" during the first Century of the Corps. I know the information is out there somewhere but I am unable to locate it. I just need to find some basic facts on when/who we created and started using our "Drill and Ceremonies manual" and maybe info about any major changes to it if you have the information readily available. I wouldn't ask if I hadn't already spend the last 2 days googling the information but I'm desperate at this point:scared: . If any Marine historical geniuses would like to respond I would greatly appreciate it.:D
