I have read a few posts that talk about getting something called "Ironman" in boot camp. Can someone tell me what this is, or am I mistaken?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to getting this?
I mean, are you quarterdecked more, is it easier to get squad leader, is this a useless title, whats the deal. Thanks for the info.

it is just a competition during your last PFT. I had the highest number of situps and was close on the pullups with 36 but the guys who run 17-16 minute run times had a huge advantage. It is for the honor of it. Its not all about what you can get from it. Get used to that idea. You might be sh*t hot but if you are not a team player you will be put in a hurt locker quick.
