Some might say "Always Faithful",
That might get the question to whom or what are we "Always Faithful" to?
God, Country, and Corps
The Corps is made up of many nationalities, all being "Always Faithful" as they see the meaning of those words.
Under Corps, we might think of our Marine Corps Core Values,
One big part is Respect to one another.
As Non-Commissioned-Officers, we look to respect those above us
and those below us as respect should work both ways.
Some might think I thinned skin on jokes,
I 'm sorry all my humor died in Vietnam.
Especially jokes aimed at the blood that flows through my veins.
Jokes of that kind died when I helped carried a young Marine who skin was brown just like mine.
He was so shot full of bullets holes, one leg was almost shot off.
Than what example are providing a bunch of poolee's.
Whose last names might be Lopez, Gonzalez, Martinez and on and on.
We giving them the idea that their service might not be as worthy as the service of other Marines, when they do become Marines.
I look to uplift or improve other Marines, not cut them down.

Just before I came here I found this;

I have had prayers answered -
most strangely so sometimes -
but I think our heavenly Father's loving-kindness
has been even more evident in what He has refused me.
Lewis Carroll (1832-1898)

What has my Heavenly Father refused me?
Not much as I been blessed,
From the moment I swore an oath of enlistment.
Ten years of service in our beloved Corps,
Than becoming a Father and Grandfather,
I'm not rich other than in name,
What little I have, I share,
Not for a pat on the back.
It what Marines do, for other Marines and everybody else.
No Lord you have not refused me.
It is I that at time, I have let you down.
A dear friend and Fellow Marine, now gone,
Once told me;
"To thyself be true." times I asked myself;
George what were you really trying to tell me?
True to what I am, from my skin to my soul.
Or might you have told me;
Times, you will be tried and don't be found wanting,
In respect and your Marine Corps Core Values.
Gracias George my fellow "All The Way" H. Morrow aka Nomad.
You, MGunz and 1st. Lt Frank S. Reasoner, taught me what really is important in this world and in our beloved Corps.
Respect...no more , no less will be acceptable...
