One would meet everybody approval and no name calling.
But being as dumb as I am, I will give it a shot.

Some site World War II and appeasement, but these are not the 1930's.
Besides this war on terrorism has not required sacrifice by more than a few in the military and those related to them.
Many in our schools of higher learning and even our High Schools have sites on the web opposing this war in Iraq.
Why?
Because they are beyond the reach of any possible DRAFT.
And they have "other priorities"
Sound familiar?
I seem to have heard that from my past.
We went in seeking Weapons Of Mass Destruction (WMD) or that what we were told.
But I rather think it was failure to get the job done in Desert Storm.
Than the why of Desert Storm...
Reading about the Iran-Contra Affair and the ways money was filtered to Israel by the Saudi Arabians and Kuwaiti's so they would than ship weapons to Iran via the same channel as the money.
And see that George H. Bush was Vice President.
That left a job undone, that the son thought needed finishing.
Thus, we found ourselves invading Iraq to finish the job undone.
But they forgot one thing.
The Iraqi's thought of nationalism.
Yet there different identities, shia, shiite and the kurds.
We should seek a political solution among these three instead of a military solution.
We can't be the guardian of Saudi Arab, Kuwait and Israel beside all the moderates in that area.
Its not cutting in running, its extreme measures for extreme times.
let the name calling begin...or lets get this Congress and this Government declaring a war and mobilizing everybody...than I will believe that its the top priority of this Nation...
Let the name calling begin again...

Lets made that the weapons would bs ship to the Contras
That came about after thinking over the Iran-Contra Affair.

No I had it part right about the money but I was dead on weapons going to Iran our avowed enemy at the time.
Who was than fighting Iraq.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran-Contra_Affair
Its it hard imaging us going directly to our enemy since the over-throw of the Shah in Iran.
Well, desperate times make for strange bedfellows.
This web page brings up illegal drugs and their entry into this country.
The money would than make its way back to the Contras...
What a strange web we weave...
Somewhere I read that we had approach both the Saudi's and the Kuwaiti's to filter money into Israel for weapons that would than go to Iran...

Bush, Clinton and the CIA---An interesting book to read. (You may never trust your government again.)

Here's all the support that some of Universities, Colleges and some High Schools are giving this over-stress, over-worked, over-deployed military...

University or College

http://www.campusantiwar.net/
CAN
Campus Antiwar Network
This one I think should be CANNOT

High School

http://www.militaryfreeschools.org/
CAMS
Coalition Against Militarism in our School

If they will not...they best start thinking ASAP...
The next thing might be a DRAFT...
