Dear Dick,
thanks for your effort with publication of my links to my rank
insignia
images.

I have question for you, do you have the possibility to find
more info about
ex-marines? Why I ask, for example I have in my collection the
uniform
stamped with individuals name, but I need to know the rank and
awards which
belonged to this individual to complete the uniform for display.
Is there
any way how to get this information? Especially I'm interested
in 50's -
60's era. Will appreciate any help.

Also do you have contact with 50's-70's era female marines, I
would like to
do research on female uniforms from this era, but I need to get
in contact
with some female ex-marine. Also any photos or surplus clothing
is welcome.

Also do you have usmc uniform regulations with photos from 50's
- 70's?

Thanks

JAROSLAV (USMC & USN REENACTORS ASSOCIATION)

Hopefully, Mr Jochman (in Europe) will receive some good responses re his inquiry.

His website (noted above) is really a great presentation of Marine Rank Insignia back to the early 1900s, and also other related historical uniforms, etc.

Regretably, the USMC itself has not provided information of this kind on the WWW (nor anywhere else). I have found that in my own search for pics of old USMC enlisted chevrons that the Marine Corps could not provide such, and that my only success came from collectors of militaria and reenactors, etc.
