There was times that one questioned one's surviving a world of madness, while some better than oneself would die.
Now, with my family and extended family on the web, one might see the the reason why.
We're now thankful that God goodness allowed our survival.
To all I wish to extend my heart felt Thank You for your kind words.
I'm now close to 2000 replies or posts, but it seem only like yesterday that my fellow "ALL THE WAY" Marine aka Nomad was giving me an invite to Leatherneck.com.
Thanks George, and may God grant you peace, TheDrifter and all those that have passed since I been here, and as we gather another milestone pass fifty, we know that soon it might be our time.
But we will be here till than, one also see a why of our survival.
It might be that we would be here to aid others coming back from a world of madness and suffering just as we did after Vietnam.
Now they're lucky because now they know what ails them.
We came back to a word of hostility and in-differance.
So we suffered alone, many seeking answers in the wrong places.
Some sought clousure by the taking of their own lives by various means.
Living too fast and seeking an edge to compensate for the edge they found in combat.
Sounds familiar?
Many are now dying on our highways, parkways and our streets after surviving combat in either Afghanistan or Iraq.
Slow down, you have a life time and much to offer now and the next generation...
