CNN and FOX both spin their views. We are not surprised, but when the military Generals are as split as the political parties on that subject we have to wonder where the truth is coming from.
Are we in fact winning hearts and minds in Iraq and bringing sucess to their new government or are we failing to ingage them into the process of change from tribal war?
General Pace has said that the troops are proud of their progress and what they have done but admits that the troops are disgruntled about the lack of progress of the Iraqi goverment to pick up the load and fight to make change and move forward.
So what is the real story of the war in Iraq? My bet is that the truth will come from the troops that are there on the ground.
Till we hear their story, who should we believe?
