Politicians and people are hot to trash Bush.

Too bad the Congressional Committee investigating what went wrong before
9/11/01 isn't dealing with the following:

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured
1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted
down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military
personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and
punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and
injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those
responsible would be hunted down ! and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and
injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down
and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S.
sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and
punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 2,800 people in New
York and Washington, D.C. that are now dead would be alive today.

AN INTERESTING QUESTION:
This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting
stones, it is a legitimate question. There are two men, both extremely
wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of
dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why
was it that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill
Gates over eight years than Osama bin Laden?

THINK ABOUT IT! It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for
her forth coming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to
be written. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being
unable to recall anything about past events while under oath! And, this
woman wants to be president of the United States.

Sort of preaching to the choir here. I suspect there are few folks on this site that would not agree with what you're suggesting here: That is that Clinton was, is, and likely will forever be, a total bag of crap. Lacking everything that the Marines I know all have in excess; honor, integrity, and stones.....

I suspect we'll be dealing with his scat for a lot of years to come.

Semper Fi !!

I forgot about that expensive attack on Bill Gates and Microsocft.
Good point. How do they explain all of those unkept promises about chasing down the terrorists ?

Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down
and punished.

The thing to remember is he never said he would hunt down and punish, and does he really know the meaning of the words? I would be surprised since he knows not the meaning of so many others like honor, justice, truth, ect.

I'm not sure this is true or not. But I have been told that a young Bill Clinton was protesting the Vietnam War in Moscow way back when. i was to young then to know. Does any of the Old Salts know if it is true.

If it is true then how did a commie like that get elected twice? I think a lot of people were fooled by a slick talking, Democrap con man.

PS. Plese no wise cracks about my last name. been hearing them for years. I can asure you that no one in my family has ever been and never will be a Democrap.

Semper FI. Stay Strong Marines!!!!

George W. Bush, I believe, is also a con man. He hoodwinked
conservative Christians into believing he was born again.
He was really born again into the occultic Skull and Bones
just like his drug dealing daddy and Nazi sympathizer
grandaddy. By the way Joe, would you call my dad a
Democrap. He's a former Marine who fought in Vietnam.
All I'm saying is that name calling really gets us nowhere.
For our country to survive it will take Republicans, Democrats
and independents to make it work.

Joe: Clinton did participate in a demonstration in Moscow. Does not make him a "comie" though. Most all demonstrators then and now felt they were doing the right thing. The effect on warriors was terrible and the pol's of course caved in like a house of cheap cards. Let's hope we don't shed another 60,000 lives for some uncertain goals, and let's hope that pol's never try to run another war like they did in Nam. The 60's were strange strange strange times. The clashes between mindsets was atonishing to say the least. I am already seeing anti war demonstrations popping up again now and I am sure we're going to be seeing may more as time moves on
