Letter to Marines

Dear Marines,
Hello Marines, my name is Jon, I am 8 years old. My cousin Jimmy John is a Marine, and so was my uncle. My uncle died in Vietnam a Marine.
I've seen on you all on the TV raising a flag on an island and you were all cheering. My daddy tells me that you all are heroes and are the reason I can speak English, my daddy is a funny guy.
Christmas is in a week or two. My mommy told me to write a letter to Santa Clause, but there's nothing I want from him, so I'm writing to you. I don't want any presents this year, I have all I need.
Marines, thank you for my freedom, that is one present that no one can take from me.
