communication in iraq

hi my son is a marine in 2/8 golf co.
and i am trying to find out the high speed connection allowed in iraq
also if i can send a router for the internet we want to set up vonage because it would be free for him to call home instead of buying phone cards that can be expensive. would appreciate anyones help.

The internet is a problem depends on were he is at. Not sure on the phones we only hear from ours on the Satellite phones once in awhile.
