Quick question, how do you pronounce the MOS numbers? Take 0311 for example, do you say "zero three eleven?" Or maybe say each number seperatly?:nerd:

As far as I can remember I would say O one hundred or like you said zero three eleven. It must have been the right way to say it because I don't remember anyone trying to correct me.

oh 3 thirtyone if your talking about your MOS, but if its time your telling , you dont say zero hours except if your in hollywood. zero five thirty is the Marine way of telling time.

Great question. I remember when I was in boot camp and it was explained very politely to me that a zero is not an oh. Maybe it only has to do with time like was pointed out but I use zero's for 0 and oh's for o.

My DI's would try to kill you if you said "zero" before "three" in an MOS. They hated it. Never heard anyone say "oh" in a time, but I bet that wouldn't have gone well either.
