[/list=1] Dear Civilians, We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation have many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military. For those of you who can't for whatever reason you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas we would like assistance with. 1.) The next time you see an adult talking during the playing of the National Anthem...kick their ass. 2.)When you witness firsthand someone burning the American Flag in protest... Kick their ass! 3.) Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all Veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these Veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrafices these Veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while the Veteran kicks their ass! 4.) If you were not in the military,DO NOT pretend that you are. Wearing cammies, and telling others you were "Special Forces" and collecting GI Joe memorabilia might have been okay if you were still seven, but now it will only get your ass kicked.(Veterans are exempt from this rule.) 5.) If you witness someone calling an enlisted Marine "Sir" stand back a Marine will kick their ass. 6.) Roseanne Barr's singing of the National Anthem is not a blooper...it was disrespectful. Laugh and sooner or later your ass will be kicked. 7.)Next time Old Glory prances by during a parade, get on your feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart and quietly thank the military or the Veteran lucky enough to carry her...of course failure to do either of those will earn you a severe ass kicking. 8.) What Jane Fonda did during the Vietnam War makes her the enemy. The proper word is a "traitor b**ch " ..... Hate her or else (asses will be kicked.) 9.) Donot try to discuss politics with military member or a Veteran we are all American and we all bleed the same regardless of our party affliation. Our Chain of Command,to include our Commander in Chief .... the President (For those of you who didn't know) is all we acknowledge. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all our "Represntatives" meet. All we know is when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out. The military member might direct you to Oliver North,LtCol. USMC/Retired. (I can see him kicking your ass already.) 10.)"Your Mama wears combat boots" never made any sense to me.Stop saying it. If she did,she most likely would kick your ass! 11. Bin Laden and the Taliban are not Communists ,(Their Ass****'s ...) so stop saying : "Let's go kill those Commies!!!" And stop asking where he is!! Crystal Balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me... If you see anyone calling those psychic hotlines...kick their ass!! 12.)Last but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families.Every Thanksgiving and Christmas that you enjoy with your family and friends, please remember that their are literally thousands of troops overseas wishing they could be with their families. Thank GOD for our military and the sacrifices they make every day......Without them our country would get its' ass kicked...

My son is an active duty USMC officer, my Brother-In-Law is a graduate of the USNA and my brother was an Army Spec. I am serving our veterans daily at the VA Medical Center and very proud to do so. Hopefully I am contributing to their quality of life and better health. I appreciate our military, our flag and our country and, since 2000, our leaders.

I agree with your assessment and support your "therapy" for those who violate our country, our military and our national symbols.

My Best to you all!!!

Civilization ceases when we no longer respect and no longer put into their correct places the fundamental values, such as work, family and country;such as the individual, honor and religion. R.P. Lebret I have the utmost repect for all of our military regardless of the branch of service and the majority of the civilians working in our government system. As in anything you have that 10% who do not contribute in any way to our Great Nation except to protest,or burn our National Ensign on the Capital grounds. And as far as I can recall the justice system made it legal, but it is not right. Or you can trade out you fellow country men or women and become one of the100th celebrated women of the Century. It ain't right.
A man who neglects his duty as a citizen is not entitled to his rights as a citizen. Tiorio And yes I am enjoying my "therapy" as I feel this is one of the place's I can express my views and get excellent feedback Semper-Fi!! "Never Forget" Chuck Hall
