Is there anyone here from the 8th and I? I have a few questions. Im getting ready to go to boot camp and am realy interested in the program. Im now sure what the requirements to get in. Can anyone help me?

I was at 8th & I. You have to be infantry. They screen you at the school of infantry during the summer. It is a matter of timing. You also have to be a certain hight and weight to be considered. You have to make sure you ship to bootcamp at a time that allows you to be at SOI during may june and july. I was in the guard detachment so my screening was a bit different. I am going to boot this coming up month. So I wont be going through SOI during there screening. Are you able to apply for it after you have finished SOI? When it comes time for them to do the screening agen. Do you remember the hight requirements and any of the other ones that you need?
