Hey I just graduated from bootcamp this past Friday on July 14th. I'm going to be reporting to MCT on the 25th and afterwards heading to MOS school. My MOS is metal worker, I dont' know the number, but I know my school is in Maryland. I'm curious to know if anyone out there has gone to MOS school in Maryland and what it's like and what i should be expect. Thanks, Vicky

Hey, welcome to the Corps.

I have no clue about any school in Maryland, but welcome aboard all the same.

Welcome Aboard Marine...

Do you happen to know what your basic MOS is..?? It should be on your paperwork, or in your contarct for when you signed on the second time at the MEPS. Like Zulu 36, I have never heard of a school in Maryland before.

Welcome Marine,

I am stationed in Virginia, but go over to Indian Head, Maryland alot. I don't think they have any metal workers schools there, but I will be there tomorrow and will find out.

Congratulations on becoming a Marine.
Welcome to our brotherhood and to this site.

I just moved from Dahlgren VA and have been to many places in MD. I haven't heard of a metal worker school though.
Let us know where it is if you can.

Didn't we used to have an MOS school at Aberdeen?
