I was always under the impression that he had been wounded.
Now, I find something entirely different.
But as we used to say'
"That don't mean nuthing!"
He still is very active in his support of the Marine Corps
And the Toys For Tots program.
This does mean something.
Still the remains the question of the legality of that
"Honorary Promotion" to Gunny.
But then too this might;
"Mean Nuthing"
