The attached is not tasteful but of reality,
from an old Marine friend. . .

This is from an ex-Marine (you know....one of those troops
everyone supports). This letter refers to the two kidnapped
and murdered soldiers that you barely heard about for more
than a day last week.
(He expresses my sentiments to the letter...)

My friends,
Now we are told that [the two American soldiers] had their
genitals cut off and stuffed into their mouth. They were
beheaded. They were tortured unmercifully while still alive
by the disciples of Allah, and I hear no words of outrage from
the "left" today. Not a single word from Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi,
Howard Dean or Cindy Sheehan.

If they speak at all, it is only to blame our president. Shame
on the liberals. Shame on the Democrats. Shame on the MSM
(mainstream media).

They were U.S. Marines. They were America's finest. They
were slaughtered.

There is a growing chorus coming from the "left" today urging
us to close Gitmo. At Gitmo we have detained 432 terrorists.
These vermin are the worst scum on the planet. We are at war.
Can I say that again? WE ARE AT WAR!

At Gitmo these proud, bloodthirsty, murdering cowards have the
following amenities:
Air conditioning;
three meals per day;
they have their Qurans;
And, they have an army of ACLU types willing to do their bidding.
At Gitmo they eat better than you and me.

Yet, all we hear from the "left" today is that we must close Gitmo
because of our abuse of those poor terrorists. Lies and audacity.

Meanwhile, when our enemies detain our troops, America's best
an America's bravest get slaughtered in the name of Allah.

Where is the treasonous press today? Why aren't the headlines
today filled with rage for this subhuman enemy?

My friends, allow me to share just a shred of truth with you:
"Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only
because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
Said differently? Many in this nation do not deserve the freedom
these brave soldiers have provided us. Can you think of another
time in history where there was such blindness, hypocrisy and
lack of honor?

I am depressed. I am discouraged. I want to fight back. I don't
know what to do. I have never felt so uneasy or so helpless.
I suppose this letter today is my way of coping with my sadness
and anger. Please forgive me.

Will America wake up in time? Will we find the courage to face
this enemy and defeat him? If we sleep on, if we continue to
give way to the "politically correct." I am afraid we will be
overrun and our children will rise up and curse us.

If there was ever a time to pray, perhaps it is in this time.

Semper Fi,
From an old and frustrated jarhead

This old devildog sounds more like me than me.

Keep your eyes on the Israelies and see how it is suppose to be done. No political correctness, no ask for permission to fire and sorry about the ''civilians'' that might be in the way.

Marines, but amry:

One soldier who was killed and two others kidnapped at a checkpoint in Yusufiyah, Iraq, Friday belonged to the 101st Airborne Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team.

Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Mass., was killed after the soldiers’ traffic control checkpoint came under enemy attack, said Fort Campbell Public Affairs spokesman John Minton.

The two missing soldiers are Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, Texas, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore. All infantrymen were assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment.

Well it dont matter to me if they where army or Navy or Marines the bottom line they died and someone needs to pay dearly. Israel is doing what we should have done in Vietnam and all the other police actions we have been in including this war in Iraq. If your not into keeping your libertys and freedoms then get the hell out of the way and let the real men get the job done.. enuff said..

If we're not going to fight a war right, get out. Politicians and the news media should do what they do best (steal and lie) and let the military conduct the war.

Yeah, I'm with you guys - I'm kinda partial to the Israelis (cause I work for one). Even in business he's taught me a lot about not reacting when I get ****ed about something. When their Olympic team got killed they got revenge on everybody involved - took them about 20 years but they finally killed them all.

I got off like a rocket when I saw the bombing they did the other day. And when the guy said that if the Lebonese were going to make life on the Israeli side of the border miserable then the Israelis were going to make life on their side of the border hell - and they did it - they bombed the $hit out of the place. That's the way we should be - we have the firepower, the technology and the BALLS to turn Iraq into a big litter box and rename it but......................here we still sit in the sandbox killing time and putting OUR people in harms way. I wholeheartedly support what we're doing but, dammit, let's blow the place up and kill them all - God (or Allah either one) can sort them out!

I have a brother that has several of his young police officers who are reservists that say we are doing good things in Iraq, rebuilding and such, and it's not like Vietnam, and I'm sure it's true the rebuilding and such part, BUT we did the win their hearts and mind gig in Nam and did good things too, and we didn't lose in Vietnam anymore than the troops are going to lose in the war against terror. Our politicans do not have the will or Balls enough to do anything that might not get them reelected again and if things become unpopular they will throw you, me, and any other jarhead out in the cold. I'm disgusted with the whole bunch.

I want to go back home. Maybe a bunch of us should go back home and join the brothers and sisters taking names. The honor is in our support. Please tell me how I can make a difference. I want to go back in but they may not let me. What do you think bro?

Who would support an "ex-Marine?"

Examples of ex-Marines are Jack Murtha, Lee Harvey Oswald, et. al

Any more scoop on this to enlighten me, perhaps?

It doesn't matter if it was and Army guy or Marine, the point is that it was wrong. This war on terror is prolly worse then any other war. My goodness. And sorry to be the one with the bad news, but this world is honestly gonna end pretty soon. I mean, look around you and see what's happening.

Thanks guys, all this time I thought I was the only one outraged by the horrors that happened to those fine young men. I was sick to my stomach over the waste of those guys and the lack of outrage from the American public.
