After boot camp in 1979 at PISC, I was sent to MCCES MCAGCC 29 Palms, CA.
I went through BEC, then GRRC, ending up in TCMU (Telecom Maint Unit) until my EAS in Sept of 1983; repairing radios in support of the C&E Schools. What I can't seem to get is the straight scoop on my exact unit within the Corps. I know I was in Alpha Co, but I'm looking for the full designation so my family will have the complete and correct info.
If anyone here was with me at the Stumps, whether in TCMU (remember Drager and his Harley----Papa Flea?) or in the schools ---or if you just have knowledge of the exact unit designations, I'd be grateful if you'd help me out. Thanks anyway for reading this. :flag:
