Can't get the job!

Hello, Im Tim. I'm going to boot camp in Sept. and my recruter says that there are no infrentry jobs right now! That makes me mad, I mean I love to work on cars and all but what I really want to do is become a Sniper. Ever sence I was little. All other jobs just seam boring to me. So what can I do?

wait until one opens up. Im an infantryman and I cant think of any other job in the Marine Corps that I would want to do.

I also leave in September. I originally wanted 03xx also so what my recruiter told me was that if no slot were to open up by then, that they would just pull that number off the next fiscal year. Just ask your recruiter about doing that, it's worth a shot.

When I enlisted, I waited 9 months for an Infantry opening at SOI/ITB.

If you want it, you'll wait it out.

Maybe you could try to get a Security forces job. They do 2 years of Security forces then you are an 03xx after that. Check into it. Good luck, Bige1371
