Any Marines out there been in Artillery?

Just wondering if any of you Marines did artillery duty. What was it like?

got to ride around alot
but still hump'd a m60 most of the time
was on the 105mm towed
most of the time
time
honor
tradition
thats what its all about
think about it, when the shooting is going on
and you are sitting next to two ton of explosives
long time ago
but i still love the sound of something blowing up:thumbup:

this was something that happened over 30 some odd years ago
but it didn't matter what MOS any one had
it was just being a marine that counted
and the Pride ,Honor ,and Tradition that goes with who and what you are
its still carried in your soul to know that you served your country
with Honor and walk with your head held high
I earned the right to call myself a Marine
i had many jobs when i served and i saw a lot
and i will shoot the Bull with the best of them
but when it comes time to stand up to be counted
i will be in that line
of the men who helped to defend this country
