We were in a location, that made pinning out place.

I don't believe so, but I did acquire a great deal of responsibility.
That will be your main concern now and many will look to you.
To carryout the orders they have placed at your feet,
With the understanding that you had the ability and their trust.
Granted a Corporal is just above a L/Cpl but the responsibilities
Make it seem like there an ocean between the two.
I wish to extent my congratulations on reaching this mile-stone.

Congratulations on becomeing one of the backbones of the Marine Corps. I enjoyed being a Corporal but I didn't enjoy the gautlant that happened directly afterwards. It can be a little painful. I am sur ethat you can get somebody to help you limp back to the barracks. Oh by the way when you get your warrant fix you rank.
