Last time I was on here was as a poolee. Poolee_Allan. Got myself through boot camp, and MCT. Now I'm over here at Camp Johnson in Basic Landing Support Specialist School. Getting ready to graduate and head on back to California. I'm going to be stationed at Lathrop. I've been so dang busy I haven't remembered, or been able to get on here. Just wanted to say Hello, once again, and this time as a Marine.

Ohh-rahh,

OOOOO-FN- RAHHHHHHH

Now, ya gotta get that coming up from the heart. It's not a sound.... it's a feeling.

Was at a Christmas party last year, wifes boss is Retired Army 3Star. He was giving all the kids a 'owah' and such. I just kinda snickered.

When the wife introduced us, and made the MARINE point, I got a 'owah'. Don't know what came over me, but, just had to tell him that it doesn't come from the gut, the sound comes from the HEART. :marine:

Semper Fi... and Welcome aboard

It's been an awesome experience so far, and I can tell I've got a lot more coming to me. I'm not getting out of this big, green monster untill they kick me out of it. It's kind of sucked having to sit around Camp Johnson and the Jacksonville area so long. I had to wait for about 5 weeks before I started training. We just did a night HST last night with the CH-53E. HOLY BEJEZUSS!! That was the most amazing thing I've ever done, or seen in my life. Having that helo sitting 6 feet or less over my head the whole time was such a rush. But my gawd, at night I don't know what happened to that pilot. He almost set the helo down on top of our heads a couple times. Seeing that electricity arc from the hook to the static wand was a sight. The CH-46 doesn't even compare to the 53E. See you all in the fleet in 3 days.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

(There's one straight from the heart for ya, mrbsox.)

Red patch for life!
First in, last out!

Congratulations Marine. Welcome aboard! Proud to hear that kind of motivation from our young Marines makes me sleep better at night knowing the country is in safe hands.
Semper Fi and good luck may you have a long and fruitful career.
Think that was awesome wait til you do it on the flight deck of a LPH at sea during a typhoon of the coast of some God forgotten Island in the south Pacific, and you will! OOORAAAAHHH!
