Personally I've never met a beer that I did not like.

Used tp love San Miguel Super Dry - San Miguel only if were ice cold. But then again after the first 6 go down, they're all good!

Didja notice that almost every one of those beers are AMERICAN beers and most are from the major brewers. Doesn't that tell ya something????

It's obvious they never had Lucky Lager. There were nights on Okinawa in the '50s when it sold for a nickel a can at the EM club. Get smashed on 50 cents.

The San Miguel I have had lately has tasted pretty nasty, not like it did during the 60's. There was a Puerto Rican beer (with a name something like Indio) that could have passed for gargle water and it had a bad after taste as well. I wish I could remember the correct name but maybe it is better that I cannot. LOL.
What about Kirin Beer being brewed in the U.S. and Foster's being brewed in Canada? Somehow when another brewing complex takes over the brewing process, even under "strict supervision", the beer never tastes quite the same. I liked Kirin when it was brewed in Japan and Foster's when it was brewed in Australia.

Pearl from OK has to be just second in line behind milwaukees beast as about the knarliest beer known to man. I actually liked Harp beer. OB in Korea was about 10% alcohol and 10% fermaldehyde. Get drunk and pickled at the same time. Stuck to the American beers in Oki but even they tasted a little off. I learned later that they are double pasturized for export and then shipped on cargo containers overseas which might take months. Anyone remember those coors cans with the two buttons on top .... you pushed them both and the big one was to drink out of and the little one was to let air in the can.... talk about shotgunning a beer ;)

Miss Ellie, thank you for asking. I'm delighted, folks mostly tell me to just shut up & go away, quietly. Anyway, I guess this thread means my earlier beer (personal) choice, being real Horse ****, still has some advocates. I've got it straight from my Veterinarian brother that Horse **** is not the worst refreshment available, as this credible list aptly proves. I'm also thankful some beers of my youth are also not on the "worst" list: Southern Select, Lone Star, Dixie and Falstaff. Kindest regards, Gary Hall. This Post improves my day. I couldn't find the Smilies, what happened?

How did Iron City or Rolling Rock not make it? That stuff is horrible.Ick! with a Corona. Cool marketing for the Cabo and Cancun beach blanket Coppertone crew, bland product. Folks buying a lime to go with a six pack to make it tolerable wtf? Heard tell the brewery esse's christen every silo of swill headed for the states with a urination ceremony, thats just what i heard  A double blind taste test comparing Corona, Iron City, Rolling Rock and Chilled Faggot Pee would likely reveal that life blows.

aaahhhh San Miguel. Pride of the P.I. There's something about ingesting iron oxide that tends to inside out the human gutbag  and thats what usually happened if you drank enough St. Mike's without wiping rust off the bottle top

The absolute worst ever was Fox Deluxe. Took almost a year to pawn off the remaining five out of that six pack.

National Bohemion - All we had on Operation Steel Pike.
Ashai - It's to embarrasing to relate the results of that night.
Stella Artois - One of the few times in my life I poured beer out without finishing it.
Sterling - My humblest apologies to my home town, Evansville Indiana
Hamms - You know what the bears do in the water up there.
Dixie - There must be someone that likes this. They're still in business.
Steel Reserve - Had a hard time getting rid of that twelve pack.
Budmilloors Combination of the names Budweiser, Miller Brewing and Coors. Use this term to describe any beer that you do not particularly like.

The Few. The Proud.

HAMMS - One night in the barracks, about two days 'til payday, we scrapped together about $5 for beer and went off to the package store to get the most for our money....There, in the bottom of the reefer, was a small stack of dusty HAMMS cases - it was like $2.79 a case ( that INCLUDED the deposit, and this was in 1992 - I ain't talking 1950 $$$ values ).

The next day felt more like we had done something we weren't supposed to....it was just AWFUL. Consuming it was an insult to every other beer ever.

It's only NINTH on the list? Holy crap, I had ONE the other night here. AND I'm from Colorado. No, I don't like 'normal' Coors either. But even in Iraq, this is the worst I've tasted, ever.
