Question for whom ever may have the intell.
As you know, I participate in MOUT training, and love it. Lately my 'co-jihadists' have gotten some radios (FRS bands) with throat mics and ear buds for wearing under our garb, so we can keep up with the action better. Research has led me to some PRC-68's, squad radios. Would probably go with a 68b or better.
Here's my question;
Are there any regulations about CIVILLIANs having/using military bands, ESPECIALLY on a military installation.
The idea is that we know they monitor radio traffic, so my using the FRS bands, we are also giving the support elements some training, as we gab back and forth. I'm wondering about monitoring THEM, and relaying it to our team. :scared: ;)
If you have any intel on using Mhz freqs in the 30 to 87.975 and 130 to 17309875 ranges, I'd appreciate it.
