Reading his comments,he's a very humble man..He cant see what all the fuss is about & that's the mark of a leader. It's his men on the line & it's his duty to see that they all get out alive,regardless of the cost to himself.
My old Seargent once said to me "Respect has to be earnt,it's not a gift". This man has my utmost respect.

Does anyone know the criteria that separates a MOH and a Nacy Cross? Maybe knowing that would bring relevance to the award. I guess it could be worse he could have gotten a Meritorious Mast...

It is my understanding that when you are put up for the MOH and they don't feel you deserve it it gets bumped to the NC.
