I placed this on another Marine message board;
There are no demonstrations on college campuses. In fact, there's no clear indication that young people even seem to notice.
I than wrote;
Why?
There no draft and we have an all volunteer military, so why should they notice or care...it does not effect them in any way shape or form...
And it brought this re-action by another Marine;

Rather interesting points of view from a fellow Marine, who now is in graduate school at YSU...on
Protest and Change:
The Antiwar / Antidraft Movement and Selective Service...it also gives you an insight on who carried the load in Vietnam.
Contrary to what been written or what's on some web pages on the web.
The author of the above served during the time of Vietnam, but his demographics placed him in Guam.
So from that point, he could see much of what he wrote...
