For anyone who has access to The Globe...

I've held off long enough, but every mother has the right to brag about her child...May 4, 2006 of The Globe in the sports section, there is an articale about Lacrosse. There are 3 photos, the bottom left photo has a player with her back facing the camera. That's my daughter...she plays for the U15 boys team. Anyone not familiar with the game (like I was) and is in the area, try and come out for a game. There are only a few left, so if you are interested PM me.

The U15 team, Onslow Edge, is undefeated. It's impressive,with exception of 2 players, no one on the team has ever played Lacrosse. The coaches feel they will be able to go to State. BTW, there is another girl on the boys team, as well.

My daughter has also designed the graphics for a t-shirt, for her team. The team voted for her design, it's all very exciting. We are very proud of her, as well as the whole team. We have the coaches to thank, too, they are great.

Congrats to her and I know your daughter would be proud to hear you "bragging" about her. I know my mom always "bragged" about me. I was embarassed sometimes because she would do it in front of me, but I also loved it because I was glad that I can make her proud of me... enough to "brag" about. :D Good luck to your daughter ringoffire.

Anyone in the Jacksonville, NC area....If you happen to be watching chanel 13news at 6pm or 11pm, they did a spot on Onslow County Lacrosse today.

I wasn't at the game, but Katie scored another goal and they won. I was cheering for my oldest sons baseball game, they won as well and he brought in 2 runs.
