Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Commander-in-Chief stated the other night. The National Anthem needs to sung only in English. We should never take down what was built by our heritage. Other countries don't do that why should we?

California -156 years ago!


Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, in California?

California became a state.
The State had no electricity.
The State had no money.
Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
There were gun fights in the streets.

So basically, it was just like California is today except that the women had real breasts and the men didn't hold hands!

Theodore Roosevelt really did hit the nail on the head. He said something that every American right now is thinking. Funny how these politicians don't ever say anything remotely close to that. He also said that when America wasn't waist-deep in illegals roamin' around this country. It has been a lot of years since Roosevelt was in office, and it seems quite a few people have dropped the ball since then...
