Don't know about PI but at KBay in Hawaii you can rent a beach cabin for 70 bucks a nite. If you are a veteran of course or prior service.

Yes, Parris Island is a open base so anyone can come and visit it. I know this from when i worked for PMO on the Air Station in Beaufort about 2 years ago. Yes there is a hotel on Parris Island and if they are full there is a hotel on the Air Station which is on the other side of town.

They actually just ask and you either say yes or no...but I guess taking a copy of your DD214 wouldn't hurt.

To get on Parris Island all you need is a valid ID, proof of car insurance and the registration. Parris Island is a open base anyone can get on the base
