Det-3 1st RadBn ROK-DMZ Marines

Looking for Marines who deployed to the Korean DMZ on a Det-3 out of 1st Radio Battalion (Hawaii). Whether it was on a 1970s Det-R or an 1980s or early 90s Det-3, we (myself and 16 other such Marines) have started a Yahoo group to reconnect with old buddies and share stories of our time in Korea each winter.

We are up to 35 members now, we've also opened it up to include anyone in the 26xx field (not just those in that did Det3s) that was stationed with us at one of the Rag Bags, or trained at DLI, Corry Station, Goodfellow or was in one of MarSptBn companies.

We are still around and kicking, we have over 200 members now. We still have our old Yahoo email group site up and running, though we have a newer site we use to keep our day-to-day comms going (you can get to it from the old Yahoo group site.)

We had our first ever SIGINT/EW Marines reunion in Vegas back in June 2007 with 19 former Rag Baggers in attendance and a few other spouses and friends to boot.

This year our 2nd annual reunion will be in Winter Haven, Florida in mid-June and we are expecting a larger turnout so get contact me if you need more info.
