This passed Saturday Mark(fontman) and the Marines from the area decided they were due for a little R and R...

There were Active and Retired, Enlisted and Officers and a few that just came back from a tour from Iraq....

Boys will be boys...but I can say they are Marines and some good friends...

The Rathole...Jacksonville, NC....
Maybe Mark will give a little history about the Rathole...

The "Rathole" parties were started in 1996 by MSgt Gilbert (Spa nky) Feest, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.)

They are held during the spring and summer months at least monthly.

This was our largest turnout to date...

A great time was had by all who attended.
