I want to pay for my membership

I want to pay for a gold membership, but don't a credit card. Can I pay by personal check?

Well I haven't been on here as much lately as I used to be, been a while actually, so I guess I've missed some things. What's with the "gold" membership? I don't remember that before. Is this why I can't reply to some threads, and it tells me I don't have permission or my account has been deactivated or something, b/c I don't have a gold membership?
