View Full Version : Dear President Bush: I Am Going To Mexico

Dear President Bush:
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me.
I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.
I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.
14. Eventually I want to be able to vote and have all election materials and notices sent to me in English with Spanish as a second language..
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico.
I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.

Funny yet kinda makes you a little sick when you see it on paper!
I totally agree, couldn't have explained it any better. Mr Bush, Mr Chaney and Mr Rumsfeld if you could find it in your so called patriotic and courageous hearts, extend what ever is needed to our veterans, they are who made this country great and free, not anyone of you. So if you could find some kind of compassion and gratitude in your hearts. to start taking care of our Veterans and our own countrymen before we venture outside this great nation. As we Marines always say and do, we always take care of our own 1st. Would be a noble gesture.

Holy crap, I didn't even know we had a Master Gunny on this site.
Can't we all just live in peace?
Growing up (remember I'm not that old so it was only a few years ago), I went to school with a lot of hispanics, almost 85% hispanic. Yes there was crime and all that bad stuff (which there is everywhere), but I had a lot of good friends who were hispanic, some were illegal, yet the one's I knew earned the right to be here more than most people living in this country. They really wanted to be citizens and call this country home... they worked very hard to make a living, and I admired them. Sorry if not too many of you feel the same way, maybe you never really had the opportunity to know them like I did, some of them are really good people, and they deserve the right to be here.
I'm not denying that some are only here to commit crime and don't really care about this country, but there are quite a few who have good strong morals and are outstanding people, and I would like to see those ones stay, even if it costs me a few extra cents out of my paycheck.

Flint area here bugs.......my gripe is not with Hispanics ; just the moron residing in the White House. He and his Republican cronies are ruining this country and breaking the back of the middle class. His administrations actions will have far-reaching effects for decades to our detriment.

Neither Party has the balls to stop the problem and that is the crime. They both pander to the posibile voters they might gain which is a load of B.S.

:( Well, little Lorix, sorry to have to inform you but Milwaukee is starting to be "occupied" by illegal aliens from all parts of Mexico and South America. I worked as an occupational R.N. at a local foundry and all you would have to do to empty the plant would be to enter the work areas and shout out "attencion, amigos, es La Migra". The plant would empty out in nothing flat because the majority of the employees had phoney "green cards" and to be picked up by the Immigration authorities would be the end. They had a habit of complaining of work related injuries, knowing they'd be paid for their time off, recovering from these "injuries". They'd return to the shop after being sent to the clinic for treatment and when they came back without a slip excusing them from work because they didn't have anything wrong with them, they would then try to report being "picked on because they were Latino". There were some really hard working Latino males too, and they were hard working, always reported on time, didn't take off for anything less than pneumonia or a broken limb. When injured, they still came to work because they were not only supporting their local family, they were sending money to their home country to help support those families. The majority of Milwaukee's "South Side" was once filled with German and Polish families who had outstanding work ethics, then the Serbs & Croats moved in and were equally hard working. Once they made enough money they moved out to the suburbs and the Latinos moved in. We were lucky, our Mexican & Puerto Rican neighbors are great! They send their kids to school to learn English and keep their property clean and neat. There are a few bad eggs, i.e. the "Mexican Mafia" and the "Latin Kings" as well as some other gangs and there are a lot of shootings and murders comitted, often killing innocent kids who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. In other words, young Woman Marine, you will find everything in our city that is present throughout the whole United States of America! My granddaughter is part-Puerto Rican so don't tag me the the "racist" label. Many of our friends are close neighbors and they are better than some of the white trash that are also present in this city. I am not only a proud American but also am priviledged to claim the title of UNITED STATES WOMAN MARINE! Semper Fi:flag: :D

Before any of you younger, salty Marines with a higher rank than Ms Horton, begin lambasting her for her opinions, here or anywhere else, you might ought to read her profile.
Ms Arlene, is a Woman Marine, and a damn proud Woman Marine. Oh yeah, she's 'only' a PFC. Yep, and she got her stripe in '52, back in the days of Korea, when, I daresay, your folks neither had a twitch nor desire. They weren't around either.
Having said that, and I'm not saying anyone would or has, but the way this board is turning to sassiness and disrespect from the youngsters, I ask that before you go off on someone, check their profiles. They would at most times interest you greatly.

This might sound funny to alot of you but I am embarrassed by all of this idiotic Illegals claiming they have rights here in the U.S. I get associated with this people alot of times and I have stated on this site before that no one in my family tree has crossed the Rio Grande. I agree with Horton. People do not deserve to be here that hasn't done entered our Country legally. You can work you azz off here but if you are here illegally you need to GO. My 2 cents from a proud AMERICAN

I'm with Ms Arlene - Georgia is "occupied" already and it makes me mad as hell that my tax dollars are helping to pay their medical bills and to feed their kids.
And, just like Ms Arlene, I'm proud to be a WOMAN MARINE and a member of the Women Marines Association! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for paving the way for me Ms Arlene! Semper Fi!

:devious: One thing... Illegals are just that, ILLEGAL!!! Our laws were written for the citizens of the country, not for illegals. If our Justice Dept would get busy and send the illegals back from whence they came. (they aren't citizens and thus have NO rights to hearings, etc... just send em home) I would welcome them with open arms if they were here legally. We MUST find a way to let people come here legally to live and work and enjoy the"AMERICAN DREAM!
 I met many Illegals living in Texas and almost every one of them were working very hard to send money home to families back home. They were living 10 - 15 people to a two or three bedroom home bought only cigarettes, food, some beer, paid rent and utilities and the rest went home. If only OUR people here had as much love for their families!!!! These people deserved to have some status here because they were not driving fancy cars, living above their means and creating havoc. They were living the american dream and HOPE for them was just supporting a family... These people deserve more than just a boot back home. Can we find it in our hearts to find a way to help those who would so selflessly live in poverty to help families back home enjoy a better life???
There are two sides to every story and they must both be looked at. I fully support sending illegals home, but I also feel the need to find a way to let people get that start in AMERICA because that is what AMERICA is all about, a country of immigrants from across the globe.

Camper51, you have to help me out here. Your opening statement says that we must get rid of the "illegals", but your following comments support them. I totally agree with you that I have met many fine immigrants, both legal and not, but the ones that were found out to be illegal, I called them in. I realize that they have a family to support, but so do I. I pay my taxes, (using my own SSN, those who are illegal don't), and don't want my money being spent one people who shouldn't be here in the first place.
No disrespect meant, my friend, but you can't have it both ways. It's the Law of the Land, not the Land of Lawless. I took an oath to uphold the Constitution Of These United States, not the free republic of soak the people.

I stand by what I said. Get the illegals out of here. However I also feel we should find a way to help those people return here legally but NOT by giving them a free pass. Does that help??
a lot of illegal Mexicans are willing to work twice as hard for half the pay of some lazy white folk who were born here but take everything for granted. They just want a better life for their family and the US is the land of opportunity.

once politics is removed and the right to vote you will see that these same bills would not be mentioned or comceived. I am not against finding a place of peace to live out the life that my family and I deserve but to do it legally and accept that if some-one does it legally they are as much American as I am.

 :iwo: :flag: There is only one way to stop the infiltration of "All Illegal People" from just walking into the US. Well two if you include a proposal of building a look a like Berlin Wall across the southern teer of America. And that is, nobody even with a passport can fly directly into the US. They have to fly to as many as it takes area's of this country, like another Ellis Island. There they willl be checked thoroughly, and if there's any suspicion of them? They get a return flight back to where they came. It'll take a lot of money, but it'll also create jobs. A back up so that nobody can slip under the wire......advise all countries, if a person has a visa, passport, they must go to one of these places. No exception's. In other words, every airport in the world, every entrance by vehicle etc, every pvt. jet, carrying big high roller's, must go to one of these places. Until something of this nature is done?, there will always be an influx of illegal's in the states. Yet....the illegal's now? Need to be rounded up. This is the fault of our Elected Official's. It's always this way. "After the fact", possibly like 9-11, if one had told the other, we may have been able to prevent it. Now? It's going to cost ton's of money, and we foot the bill. I'm not against anyone who wants to come to America. If it's legal. So, how do they expect to get all the million's of illegal's rounded up? To me, that should be the first step. This would at least show other's who come illegally, they are taking a big chance. If the other aforementioned plans would not come to be. Also I'm with the mentioning of younger Marine's. Please don't be insulting other's. This site was for Marine's to discuss, address different issues. Not to put a fellow Marine down. If you read on the top of the Home page, it says to the effect, be courteous, respectful. I would ask all to adhear to this, Please? Now Carry on Maggot's. SF OOOOORAAAHHH!!
