Looking for LtC Tom Campbell from Dallas Texas who served in Viet Nam and then at CampLejuene before going to P.l. Was with HQ Co 2/2 76-79 or therabouts.

I am Bill his son and I hate to say that he passed away this last week on the 4th of July. Dad had fought three cancers over the last 14 years and this one was the one that got him.

At this point, no arrangements have been made except that he wanted to be buried in New Mexico and we believe that he will be laid to rest at Fort Stanton outside the Ruidoso area. My mother, Nancy, is still alive and resides in Ruidoso. There will also be a memorial service - maybe two in Austin and/or Dallas in the next month or so.

I was in the process of googleing my fathers name and came across your request for info on my father and wanted to respond. He touched many people in his life and I hope he did with you as well.
