As stated in the December 3, 2002 Press Enterprise newspaper. A Marine fell overboard from the Belleau Wood. This one hits close to home. This bro' is a cousin of my wife's. He has another brother also in the Marine's. Looks like heaven has another guard.

I do not know his name/rank. His home of record I beleive would be Pedley, CA.

My wife just informed me that the Press Enterprise has front page coverage on this Marine. Most of this Marines family still lives in the Pedley area.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Latest update...The Military has called off of the official search. This Marine's name is Robert Contreras. I erred in saying he had a brother in the Marines, he actually has a cousin by the name of Michael Munoz. Rank unkown.
