  Cass? I just got a big envelope from the Reg'l VA office Waco TX. In it was my "denied" for "Peripheral Neuroapthy". Stated was the fact no dispute that the Dr. who discovered it, that it was present. I do take mediciation for it.
The reason's, which I have had other fellow brother's/sister's who served in Oz = Nam. LOL., got the same answer....."Not within a certain time frame, after coming home from Nam." "Not within the guideline's of the limitation's of when it appeared." "No record of having it while in the Marine Corps." A very wonderful Lady, she issue's daily many, many, "order's of the Silver Rose" to Veteran's who are suppose to, mandated by Congress, from the President give purple hearts to those victim's of A/O. She has told me; "They will never give you any service connection for it, due to the high number of cases of OZ Vet's who have it now, but not within the limitation's the VA/Fed's have placed to where one can be service connected to it. I'm 100& PTSD. If I would die? My compensation for PTSD would not be given to any surviving member of my family. Unless proven, which would probably take an act of Congress, LOL, to do, that my death was a direct result of and to/from/hence/forewith/coming from the perameter's of all the known side effects i.e. depression to suicide because of PTSD, or stress causing such as a heart attack, stroke from stress you know something to that effect.
With your expertese, do you think they will ever, they meaning Congress, allow post onset of Peripheral Neuroapthy, without the limitation's, be an existing allowable service connection? Thanks. SF Wind 'n Face.
