A Tribute to The Marines
I look up above me
As I dream
And I see on the clouds
Guarding heaven with swords
What I wish I could one day be
They are all brothers, sisters
The Greatest Family
Marines
At this point in my life
I can only watch
I am eager to join their ranks
Be called friend
And kill for my country
I may not have a stripe of blood
Though I will have blood
The same as never before
Only they transfix me
The Marines
The smallest piece contributes
To the whole of the building.
A colony of ants
May fight off an enemy
Lions may lay back
Proud of their lands
A whole nation may one day
Call itself the greatest
But none of these match up to

On Land, In Air, and Sea
There are no limits
While I wait for
My Chance
To be
With the Few
With the Proud
