Four US marines injured in Iraq

Baghdad, March. 14, (BNA) Four US marines were injured and their Humvee was destroyed following an explosion East of Al Qaim city near the borders between Iraq and Syria.
A police spokesman said that the explosion took place as a patrol comprising seven vehicles was passing by in Al Qaim city. The spokesman stressed that the explosion caused great damage to one of the vehicles and that four marines were rushed to the US base in south of the city for treatment. Six civilians were arrested following the attack.
