Flag, Colors and Standards

Even among Marines, we have a hard time defining our
10th General Order;
To salute all officers, and all colors and standards not cased.

Many have a hard time interpreting what is meant by a "Color" and a "Standard".

Colors might be our National Flag and Flag of the Marine Corps

I hope this will clear that up a bit...
I hope I don't leave you or my fellow marines more confused...
another little bit, cased means covered for transportation...

During Reveille and Taps I definitely saluted. I still am unclear about saluting when passing the flag while on sentry duty.
