Alright, I can't think of my other questions right now, don't have time too anyway, but just so that you know, I do have them and will be asking them a little later.

About Susie Rottencrotch, what is your advice about her? I won't get into details but are there many successful relationship stories in the marines? And is Susie Rottencrotch worth any trouble you might get into with her, if you truly love her?

Just wondering.

Oh, you know what,m I just thought of one.

What can a recruit do in training to be a good squad leader or guide? I know that they get smoked if someone under their command does something wrong, but is there a way that the leaders can help the other recruits to make sure they don't screw up? Also, how does one become a leader during training, and a good one at that? Should I volunteer for everything, or just do my job and no more than my job?

My own personal story...

4 months into the fleet my gf of 2 years broke up with me. At the time I was all busted up, being 18 years old and thinking I had just lost my true love. Pretty much the same thing happened to about 50% of the guys during our first deployment who had gf's going into bootcamp. Its just one of those things. Your young shes young and things change. Its hard for a girl to stay home and be all alone while your out romping around, doing God knows what in countries you cant even pronounce. So it might happen, it might not. Either way youll be ok. Theres plenty of girls out there. ......Oh and my x that broke up with me ......her teeth are falling out right now ..cuz all the meth she smokes.

I think it all depends on if you are meant to be. If you arent it wont work out but I have seen plenty of stories on here where it has. I have a wife and I love her very much so when I go to boot I am confident we will stay together we made vows and we both plan to stick to them.

Thanks, guys, for telling me what you think. I hope nothing like that happens between us, but then again, who knows? right?
Outlaw- isn't that ironic?

yeah...i feel bad for her, but after her and I broke up I met another girl and she was my girlfriend for the last year I was in the fleet. Through 2 deployments shes been my best friend and I ended up marrying her 2 years ago. So everything always happens for a reason.

stiffler2, How do you know that Susie has a rotten crotch?

You know there are things available in the drugstore pharmacy or sickbay for things like this.

The pharmacist & sawbones will work with you and be discreet. Unless in fact this outbreak would have to be turned into the CDC.

They do have creams and lotions for this and a home remedy could be to eat plenty of yogurt.

You could also see a metal smith or a farrier and have a chastity belt made. To be extra nice you can have it fur lined.

Wishing you both the best of luck.

Is the rumor of an island, just off the coast of Vietnam, in or around the China Sea, where the "incurables" still habitat, still ongoing? I heard that no one ever escaped from there nor has there ever been a cure for what ailed 'em except chastity but by then it was too late.

Geez, a fur lined chastity belt. Fancy that. LOL

I would imagine it would have be taken off every so often and brushed if it got too messy and started stiffening up. I would also think it could go to a dry cleaners. If all else fails and in a pinch you could use a spot remover. Just have them chrome or Teflon it when made so it doesn't rust!

The rumor passed onto us in the 80's was it was called Black Syph Island. Incurable and the unfortunate inhabitants could never return to the US. It was said even Charlie left them alone.

If you read "Steel My Soldier's Hearts" it was a disease one of the docs made up because he was getting so many cases of syph and clap.

with the woman. expect the worst (i.e. she cheats on you and sends you pictures while your in bootcamp) and hope for the best (she is one who actualy understands what it is to be with a marine and realize that she comes second, because you actually dont have a choice what you do and where you go and when you go).

Amazingly, only one recruit in our platoon of about 50 received a dear john letter. The rest probably broke up after we graduated.
